Push Notifications
Pavillio allows you to send notifications to your caregivers, clients, responsible parties, or QP’s. You are able to set up distribution lists of users that you send to often or you can send a push notification to just one user or a group of users with the push of a button. By default, Agency Admin and Agency Owner roles can send push notifications to users. See Manage Roles to enable Push Notifications for more roles.
Push Notifications should NOT contain HIPAA data.
Select both Internal Message and Push Notification to send the message to yourself and to see the message sent within Pavillio.
To send a message,

Go to the Mailbox in the upper right-hand corner and then click the Create a New Message button.

From the New Message window:

Select the Push Notification check box.

Select the users you want to send the message to. By typing @ displays the distribution lists set up for your agency. @Caregivers, @Qualified Professionals are available. Or you can select individual users.

Type the text of your message- for example: Reminder, timesheets are due tomorrow. Or Please approve all time by Friday.
Whether the app is open or closed, the user receives the message on their device, as long as they have enabled push notifications from the Pavillio app on their device. Click the notification to be directed to the app to view the message or sign in. The user can take the recommended action right at that time.
