Outbound Faxes on the Hub
To increase communications with external partners, we’ve enabled Outbound Fax. This helps integrate communications across multiple channels that includes email and a direct connection with Minnesota DHS (to get service agreements and other agency documents).

There are 3 ways to send a fax.

Go to the Documents tab of either the Client profile or Employee Profile. All documents on the Documents have a fax option in the upper right corner. When you click the button, you can search for a contact already in Pavillio, create a new contact, or send the fax without adding a contact.

From the Care tab of the Client profile, any document except the PCA care plan can be generated and sent out as a fax from this screen. Under Actions, select Print/Fax. You’ll see the same options above. If Fax is selected, the right side panel displays and you select a contact or enter the fax recipient information. Once the fax is sent, it is stored both in the Documents tab of the Client profile and in the HUB.

You can send a fax directly from the HUB using the Send New Fax button. This allows you to search for a contact, create a new contact or send the fax without creating a contact. This area also allows you to upload files to be sent. This allows you to send documents that are NOT stored within Pavillio.

After sending the file, in the HUB you can see information from the sent fax including the recipient, the sender, the sent date, by who and the status - new, success, failed.
If the fax has failed, an option displays to retry sending it.
