Overlapping Service Agreements with the Same Payor
If you receive a second Service Agreement for the same Client, Service, and date range, you can enter this into Pavillio. Verify that both Service Agreements are valid and current. There are several situations where this can happen, including but not limited to: Different service codes issued to different UMPI numbers your agency has, or different service codes with the same payor being issued with separate service agreement numbers.

To add your Service Agreements:
-
Go to Clients > Current Clients and click on the Client record.
-
Go to the Care tab.
-
Locate the Care Period. In the Actions column, click the Add Service Agreement icon.
-
Complete the first Service Agreement, making sure to select No under the Auto Priority dropdown. For more information on completing a Service Agreement, see Add a Service Agreement.
-
Go back to the Care tab and click the Add Service Agreement icon again.
-
Complete the second Service Agreement, making sure to select Yes under the Auto Priority dropdown. Make sure that the Service Codes in the second Service Agreement are not the same as the codes in the first one.
-
When you finalize the second Service Agreement, you receives an alert: There is already a Service Agreement for this Payor, do you want to add another? Select Yes.

When entering Visit records via Care Management > Paper Timesheet, select the Service Agreement containing the Service Code needed.
When entering Visit records via the Pavillio Mobile App or website, the Caregiver must select the Service Agreement they are clocking in to. Before submitting the timesheet, the Caregiver can change the Service Agreement.
