Mark a Client as Hospitalized
When clients are hospitalized, it is important to move them from the Current Clients list to the Hospitalized list in order to free up Caregivers for other Clients. When they are ready to return to receiving services, you can easily move Hospitalized Clients back to the Current Clients list.
To hospitalize a Client:
- Go to Clients > Current Clients and find the Client record.

Click the Ellipses under the Actions column and select Change Status from the menu.

The Change Status window opens. Select Hospitalized from the Status dropdown menu.

Add an Effective Date and a Note explaining the reason for hospitalization. Click Change.
The Client record will move to the Hospitalized list.
When a Client is marked as Hospitalized, services cannot be billed.
