Add a Care Period

Adding a Care Period is the first step in creating the plan of care for a Client.

  1. Go to Clients > Current Clients and find the Client record.
  2. Go to the Care tab.
  3. Click the Add Care Period button.
  4. Select a Service Line from the dropdown menu and add a Start Date. It is best practice to have a single Care Period per Service Line.
  5. Leave the End Date empty, as once the End Date passes, Service Agreements and Care Documents cannot be edited or reopened.
  6. Click the Add button.
  7. Once a Care Period is added, you can add a Service Agreement or Care Delivery by clicking the appropriate Icon under the Actions column.
