Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application, such as Pavillio. MFA is an additional security measure that is required to secure your confidential information, and the private personal information of your clients, caregivers, and staff.

MFA is required for all internal staff users for the agency that is accessing Pavillio. Caregivers, Responsible Parties, and Clients are not able to use MFA on the mobile app, because that app’s setup already restricts the information available for those users to only information they are allowed to access.

To enable MFA, submit a Support Request by clicking your name in the upper right corner of Pavillio, select Support Request, and then complete the form.

Each user is able to log in to Pavillio using an email address and a password. When enabled, Pavillio sends a validation code to the user’s mobile device via SMS text message. The user enters this code into the prompt in Pavillio. If the code matches the text message, the user is signed into Pavillio.
